From today, public transport has resumed to work, - the decision was made at the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council last week.
Depsite the public transport resumption, all other existing restrictions remain in force at this stage. Wearing a facemask is mandatory both indoors and outdoors. The Interagency Coordinating Council once again urges citizens to use personal hygiene, maintain social distance and be actively involved in the vaccination process.
Due to the deterioration of the epidemiological condition in the country, public transport has been restricted since August 14 in the following cities: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi and Zugdidi.
