On October 6-8, with the support from the USAID Economic Security Program, Enterprise Georgia is organizing a second visit for well-established location investment consultants from Belgium and the US.
Today, the Enterprise Georgia representatives and the three experts had their first meeting. The director of the agency, Mikheil Khidureli held a presentation, during which he discussed the benefits of doing business in Georgia, as well as the country’s investment potential and the state programs orientated toward industrial development.
As part of their visit, the three location consultants will go on a familiarization tour to meet with several public, as well as private, sector representatives. As a result, the guests will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about Georgia’s investment potential and learn more about successfully implemented projects in the country.
The three location consultants are visiting as representatives of major transnational investment agencies - Location Perspectives and AngelouEconomics. They have decades of experience in working on investment projects with international companies and public institutions.
“Interest in Georgia as a country with major investment opportunities is growing rapidly in the international investment networks” - states the Enterprise Georgia CEO, Mikheil Khidureli. He added that the Enterprise Georgia team “is working tirelessly to further our outreach efforts and, as a result, attract more investments.”
During the past few years, the number of investors who utilize investment location consultants’ services have increased considerably. Hence, working with them represents a unique opportunity in terms of increasing awareness about Georgia’s business climate, as well as attracting investments to the country. For this reason, Enterprise Georgia is planning to organize such tours in the future as well.
