The budget performance report of Q1, 2021 was published.
According to the document, the state budget received revenue of 975.4 million GEL from VAT in January-March, which is 98% of the budget plan.
Moreover, in the first three months of this year, the budget received 779.5 million GEL from income tax, which is 98% of the first quarter plan. The amount of profit tax amounted to 430 million GEL, which was 94.5% of the plan. Excise revenue amounted to 306.7 million USD, or 137% of the first quarter plan.
In total, 2.66 billion GEL was accumulated from the taxes in the budget, which is 100.3% of the determined budget plan.
For compression, the budget received 120 million GEL more revenue from taxes in Q 1, 2020 compared to the same period of 2021.
The 2021 budget is planned with a 4.3% economic growth.
