We sympathize with everyone, but first we must protect our country and people, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili said at the beginning of the governmental session.
As the Prime Minister noted, the government should first be guided by the interests of its own country and citiznes, and then think about the interests of other people. He also criticized concerts held in Rustaveli Avenue two days ago and mentioned the name of former President of Georgia for many times.
"Risks and threats should be analyzed well today. I want to tell the opposition, they have already destroyed our country once and we will not allow it a second time. We are in solidarity and we closely watch what is happening in Ukraine. When people are dying in Ukraine, they are holding concerts in Tbilisi. They manipulate with the feelings of our patriot citizens.
They put their own interests in all adversity. Me and the whole government have a great responsibility. We must act in the national interest of our country and the interests of our people and then think about the interests of another country. We sympathize with everyone, but first we must protect our country and people," Gharibashvili said.
