In Georgia, commercial banks’ profit reached up to USD 550 million. According to the financial indicators submitted by banks to the National Bank for January–February 2026, profit increased by GEL 88 million year-on-year, a 19% growth.
Out of 19 banks, 15 reported profits, while 4 incurred losses.
The highest profit of GEL 280 million was recorded by Bank of Georgia, reflecting a 9% increase compared to the previous year. TBC Bank follows with GEL 203 million (+18% YoY), and Liberty Bank is third with GEL 19.4 million (+5% YoY).
The banks in loss include Paysera Bank, HashBank, Silk Bank, and VTB Bank Georgia, with the largest loss of GEL 6.5 million reported by VTB Bank in January–February 2026.
