Union of Oil Products Importers reports, that gasoline and diesel imports increased between January-April.
In particular, during 4M2024, the imports of gasoline and diesel fuel amounted to 423.4 thousand tons in Georgia, which was 76.2 thousand tons or 21.9% more compared to the indicator of the same period of the last year (347.2 thousand tons).
During the first 4 months of 2024, the imports of gasoline fuel amounted to 214.2 thousand tons, while the diesel fuel - 209.2 thousand tons.
According to the categories, the imports of A-91 regular type gasoline amounted to 113.6 thousand tons (53%); A-95 premium gasoline - 95.8 thousand tons (44.7%); A-98 super gasoline - 4.8 thousand tons (2.2%);
During the months of January-April of this year, the largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel was imported from Russia - 231.6 thousand tons, which was 54.7% of all imports. Followed by Bulgaria - 56.7 thousand tons - 13.4%; Romania - 54.8 thousand tons - 12.9%; Azerbaijan - 36.5 thousand tons - 8.6%; Belarus - 17.5 thousand tons - 4.1%; Turkmenistan - 10.2 thousand tons - 2.4%; Cyprus - 6.3 thousand tons - 1.5%; Greece - 5.5 thousand tons - 1.3%; Turkey - 2 thousand tons - 0.5% and others.
