Union of Oil Products Importers reports, that the exports of gasoline and fuel increased in the first half of the year. A large share of imported goods accounted for Russian fuel.
According to the union, in January-June 2024, gasoline and diesel fuel exports to Georgia amounted to 620.2 thousand tons, which was 66 thousand tons or 11.9% more than last year (554.2 thousand tons).
Among them, during the first 6 months of 2024, the exports of gasoline fuel amounted to 307.2 thousand tons, while the exports of diesel fuel - 313 thousand tons.
During the months of January-June 2024, the exports of gasoline fuel by the categories: A-91 regular type gasoline - 165.1 thousand tons (53.7%); A-95 premium gasoline - 136 thousand tons (44.3%); A-98 super gasoline - 6.1 thousand tons (2%);
In January-June of this year, the largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel - 327.2 thousand tons was exported from Russia, which was 52.8% of all imports, followed by Bulgaria - 84.7 thousand tons - 13.7%; Romania - 68.3 thousand tons - 11%; Azerbaijan - 56.4 thousand tons - 9.1%; Belarus - 33.2 thousand tons - 5.3%; Turkmenistan - 17.2 thousand tons - 2.8%; Greece - 13.5 thousand tons - 2.2%; Turkey - 6.9 thousand tons - 1.1% Cyprus - 6.3 thousand tons - 1%; and others.
