“Since 2012, 700 new enterprises have been established in Georgia, while 800 have expanded and modernized,” PM Irakli Kobakhidze stated during the party’s electoral program presentation.
Kobakhidze explained that the government is actively implementing programs to support business development and plans to expand these initiatives in the future, which is projected to create an additional 70,000 new jobs in the country.
“In addition to creating an appropriate environment and a robust political and legislative framework for business development, the government is executing programs to support businesses,” Kobakhidze stated.
“There’s a frequently discussed topic that the opposition likes to bring up—where are the 100 enterprises promised in 2012? Through business support programs alone, including the Produce in Georgia initiative, 700 new enterprises have been established, and 800 have expanded and modernized since 2012. This is a significant achievement brought about by this program.
In the future, we plan to expand these programs with a total budget of GEL 1.5 billion over the next four years. Up to 11,000 entrepreneurs will benefit from this program. According to the plan, 5,000 new entrepreneurial entities will emerge, and based solely on these programs, the country will gain 70,000 new jobs,” the Prime Minister concluded.
