Company “Agrokiziki” is building a farm near the village of Norio in Gardabani municipality.
As the company’s founder Beka Gonashvili told BMGTV, more than 2 million GEL has already been invested in the construction of the farm and the investment process is ongoing.
According to him, two directions will be organized: a quarantine-export zone for living, as well as a manure yard for cattle.
"We will be able to keep approximately 15,000 to 20,000 sheep at the farm at the same time, and this part has already been arranged. Now, we are building cattle feedlots, where we will be able to fatten 3,000 to 5,000 cattle at the same time. In my opinion, this will be one of the largest farms in the region, which will be able to receive and process the largest number of cattle," the farmer noted.
Beka Gonashvili says that due to the high demand, they plan to sell beef mainly on the local market. As he notes, the cows have been brought from Kazakhstan.
