The Kazakh airline Air Astana is increasing its flight frequencies in the direction of Georgia from May.
According to the company, Air Astana is operating 4 flights a week as of 16 March 2024 between Tbilisi and Almaty every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Starting from May the frequency will increase to 6 flights per week, including flights on Mondays and Tuesdays. Between June and September the flights between Almaty and Tbilisi will operate daily.
Seasonal flights between Tbilisi-Astana and Batumi-Almaty will resume from June. Tbilisi-Astana flights will be operated three times a week from Tbilisi every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, from Astana to Tbilisi every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights from Batumi to Almaty will operate 5 times a week except Thursday and Sunday.
Flights between Tbilisi-Almaty, Tbilisi-Astana and Batumi-Almaty operate on a comfortable aircrafts Airbus 320/321. Air Astana offers connections from Tbilisi via Almaty to Tashkent, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Delhi, Beijing, Bangkok, Phuket, Maldives and Seoul.
