Amid widespread personnel changes in Armenia’s leadership, Narek Zeynalyan, a Member of Parliament from the ruling Civil Contract party, announced his resignation from his parliamentary mandate. He shared this decision on his Facebook page.

Zeynalyan’s resignation marks the latest in a series of high-profile departures within the country’s top leadership, following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s sharp criticism of the performance of law enforcement and judicial authorities on November 14.

In recent days, several key officials have stepped down, including the Minister of Territorial Administration, the Interior Minister, the heads of the Investigative and Anti-Corruption Committees, and the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially confirmed that these resignations occurred at his request.
