On August 5, Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, met with representatives from the company Bridged to discuss the prospects of developing medical tourism in the country.
According to the Ministry of Economy's press service, Bridged is an online platform aimed at promoting Armenia as a leading destination for medical tourism, which could significantly contribute to the country's economic growth.
During the meeting, the parties discussed positioning Armenia in the medical tourism market and exploring its positive impact on the local economy. The company representatives presented their objectives, the platform's functionalities, the schedule of upcoming expected works, and the anticipated outcomes.
"Medical tourism is a very important sector for Armenia. Its development plays a key role in our annual strategic plan. We are ready to support and promote this sector in every possible way," said Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.
