On May 21, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, held a meeting with the French Ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies.
According to the government's press service, the parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning multisectoral cooperation between Armenia and France. Particular attention was given to matters of the economy, infrastructure, defense, and joint humanitarian programs.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of organizing high-level bilateral visits to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Arayik Harutyunyan highlighted the special relationship between Armenia and France, noting the government's interest in developing and expanding cooperation in various fields.
The meeting also covered events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the world-renowned chanson singer of Armenian origin, Charles Aznavour, and the preparatory work for the Francophonie Games, which will be held in Yerevan in 2027.
