Today, on March 25, during a joint press conference in Yerevan, prime minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze presented the results of their meeting, during which the prospects of strengthening bilateral relations were discussed.

One of the main issues was the activation of the border delimitation process between the two countries. The prime ministers expressed readiness to cooperate on this issue and emphasized the importance of unconditional recognition of each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

In addition, Pashinyan expressed support for Georgia's eurointegration aspirations, especially in light of the country's recent designation as a candidate for European Union membership. He underscored that this would be an important factor not only for the region but also for the development of relations between Armenia and Georgia.

Earlier, an agreement was announced between the authorities of Georgia and Armenia to expedite the border delimitation process between the two countries, which spans 224 km. The process of defining the border between Georgia and Armenia began after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
