On Thursday, June 6, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Andrius Pulokas. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Economy, focused on expanding bilateral economic cooperation.
Minister Papoyan thanked the Lithuanian government for its assistance in overcoming the consequences of the recent catastrophic flooding. He emphasized the importance of Lithuanian support in the recovery of the affected regions.
During the meeting, opportunities to increase trade between Armenia and Lithuania, cooperation with leading Lithuanian companies, and the creation of joint ventures were discussed. Special attention was given to collaboration in agriculture, industry, innovation and science, commercialization of technologies, and the development of the green economy.
Additionally, the parties discussed market diversification and product quality standardization, as well as the potential support for Armenian companies with export capabilities to participate in exhibitions and business conferences to be organized in both countries.
