During his visit to the Republic of Lithuania, Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, held a trilateral meeting with Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, and Minister of Economy and Innovation, Aušrinė Armonaitė.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister Narek Ovakimyan and Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania, Ara Margaryan.
The participants of the meeting noted that Armenian-Lithuanian trade and economic relations have significant potential for expansion. Minister Gevorg Papoyan emphasized that Armenia is on a path toward economic diversification, which opens up broad opportunities for further developing economic cooperation through joint efforts.
The parties exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, including attracting investments, aligning with EU standards, and deepening trade and economic ties with the European Union.
