On August 20, Armenia's Civil Aviation Committee hosted a delegation from Lithuania to discuss prospects for collaboration in the aviation sector.
The delegation included Vidmantas Pletaj, Director General of Lithuania’s Transport Safety Administration, and Arūnas Stankevičius, Advisor of the Aerodrome Certification Department.
The primary goal of the visit was to facilitate the exchange of expertise between aviation specialists from both countries. These regular meetings aim to enhance the professional level of aviation agency staff and ensure compliance with modern international standards in civil aviation.
According to the press service of Armenia's Civil Aviation Committee, this cooperation allows for the sharing of best practices, discussing common challenges, and developing innovative solutions within the aviation industry.
During the meeting, the parties also explored possibilities for implementing joint initiatives in the future. Potential areas of cooperation included training programs, technical consultations, and collaborative projects.
Representatives from both countries expressed their commitment to continuing and expanding cooperation in civil aviation, which could enhance the safety and efficiency of air transport in both Armenia and Lithuania.
