Armenia and the World Bank discuss current development programs

Armenia's Vice Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan held a meeting on March 4 with a delegation led by the Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani.

According to the Armenian government's press service, the meeting, attended by Roland Price, Director for the South Caucasus region of the World Bank, and Caroline Geghinat, Head of the Armenian office of the World Bank, focused on issues of cooperation and development.

Khachatryan expressed gratitude for the productive cooperation with the World Bank and emphasized its significance in Armenia's development over the years. The message states, "Special attention was paid to supporting people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and ensuring stable conditions for their future lives."

The meeting participants discussed current programs and areas of cooperation that are of mutual interest and have strategic importance for Armenia's development."
