According to data from the Statistical Committee for the first seven months of 2024, Armenia’s mining industry shows mixed results.
The most significant growth is observed in copper concentrate production, which increased by 14.5% compared to the same period last year, reaching 172,937.4 tons.
A positive trend was also noted in zinc concentrate production, which grew by 18.5% during the reporting period, totaling 6,236.0 tons.
However, not all segments of the industry are showing growth. Molybdenum concentrate production decreased by 29.7%, amounting to 9,763.7 tons. Even more significant is the drop in ferromolybdenum output, which fell by 44.9% to 2,658.8 tons.
