Armenia has launched its largest data center, with OVIO investing approximately $32 million in the project, according to the "Economy of Armenia" Telegram channel.
The data center meets international standards and has the necessary system redundancy to ensure uninterrupted operation.
"Its total capacity is 2.5 MW. It has launched 218 server racks with the ability to quickly scale up capacity, as well as a cloud service with 20,000 cores," the announcement states.
The new data center, as noted in the publication, will significantly enhance Armenia's competitive advantages, enabling local companies and government institutions to utilize modern infrastructure.
"In the future, it is also planned to provide services in the field of information security," the statement adds.
