From August 25 to 28, 2024, the Diplomatic Club of Astana invites Armenian entrepreneurs to visit Kazakhstan on a business mission. The event aims to strengthen business ties between Armenia and Kazakhstan and create additional opportunities for business contacts.

The business mission is focused on developing key sectors for both countries, such as transportation and logistics, increasing mutual trade, and implementing IT projects. The event will include B2B meetings and negotiations, as well as official meetings with government representatives. Participants will receive comprehensive information about Kazakhstan's business environment, investment opportunities, and prospective markets.

The event is organized with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Kazakhstan, the "Bridge" business incubator, the Almaty Akimat office, the national company "Kazakh Invest," the SEZ "Khorgos-Eastern Gate," the International Center for Cross-Border Cooperation "Khorgos," and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Armenia.

Earlier, BMG reported that in 2023, the foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Kazakhstan increased by 2.4 times, reaching $100.5 million. During this period, exports grew by 3.8 times, reaching $71.3 million, while imports increased by 23.6%, totaling $29.2 million.

Recently, Kazakhstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu announced plans to establish an Armenian-Kazakhstani Business Council as part of further development of trade and economic programs between the two countries. As he noted, Kazakhstan could increase its exports to Armenia to $350 million and actively support economic cooperation between the two countries.
