On June 18, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Valeri Lobach, the Acting Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Republic of Armenia, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
During the meeting, various issues concerning the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and the increase in trade volumes were discussed. "We are on the path of diversifying the economy by developing relations with different countries while maintaining relationships with traditional partners," noted Gevorg Papoyan.
The discussions covered topics of mutual interest and cooperation prospects, with particular attention given to issues related to industry, agriculture, trade, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, healthcare, energy, and other sectors.
The Minister also emphasized the importance of the government project "Crossroads of Peace" in the context of establishing peace and creating trade and economic opportunities for the countries in the region.
