The Speaker of Armenia's National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, announced significant progress in peace negotiations with Azerbaijan, emphasizing Armenia's readiness to sign a peace agreement "even today."
At the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, provided an update on the state of peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to him, the two countries are on the verge of reaching a peace agreement.
"Regarding the establishment of peace, I want to inform you that Armenia and Azerbaijan are on the brink of an agreement," Simonyan said in his speech.
The speaker highlighted substantial progress in the negotiation process. According to him, the two countries have reached full agreement on 16 points.
"The time has come to establish peace: the time for peace is now," Simonyan emphasized, urging the Azerbaijani side to demonstrate the political will to turn this possibility into reality.
