According to preliminary data from Armenia's Statistical Committee, the country's foreign trade turnover reached $20.4 billion in January-July 2024, marking a 95% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
In July 2024, there was a 35.3% increase compared to July of the previous year, although a slight decrease of 1.9% was observed compared to June of this year.
Armenia's exports for the first seven months of 2024 more than doubled, rising 2.2 times compared to the same period in 2023, reaching $8.7 billion. In July, exports increased by 42.8% year-on-year but fell by 5.7% compared to the previous month.
Imports for January-July 2024 amounted to $11.6 billion, an increase of 79.1% compared to the same period last year. In July, imports grew by 30.7% year-on-year and by 0.8% compared to June 2024.
