"As you know, this is the second summit in a row that is being held in Moldova. I think there will be very important discussions in which we will take part. The main topic, of course, will be the war in Ukraine and security issues on the European continent and in general, around the world. Of course , I will also talk about our challenges, the challenges of our country, our security and also, naturally, we will talk about the European perspective of our country, and I will state our position that Georgia is ready to receive the candidate status. Of course, our country deserves the status , this is the absolute, the only correct decision that our European partners have to make. These will be the main issues.
Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to state our position that we certainly express solidarity with our friend Ukraine, the Ukrainian people. We all want this war to end soon, territorial integrity to be restored and peace to be established in Ukraine and in the whole world, and of course, our great desire and dream is peaceful de-occupation in our country, unification of our country. In this direction, our Government is doing everything to achieve this big goal as soon as possible", said the Prime Minister.
