In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan's revenues from the main oil pipelines made up AZN 535 337,2 thousand ($315 mln), and this is 12,5% less in annual comparison, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
This figure was AZN 612 054,3 thousand ($360 mln) in the relevant period of 2022.
Note that in the in January-July of current year, 19 649,7 thousand tons of oil were transported through main oil pipelines, which is 10,7% more in annual comparison.
During the reporting period, 76,5% of transportation was carried out through the BTC pipeline, 15 025,4 thousand tons of oil were transferred through the pipeline during January-July of the current year, which is 6,48% more in annual comparison. During the period, 83,7% or 12 570,2 thousand tons of oil transported through the BTC pipeline was produced in Azerbaijan, and 16,3% or 2 455,2 (4% decrease) thousand tons was imported from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
Recall that in 2022 the revenues from the main oil pipelines of Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 1 238 913,7 thousand ($729 mln), which is 3,4% more in annual comparison.
