The company "Badagoni" plans to develop in the hospitality direction.
As the founder of the company, Giorgi Salakaia, told BM.GE, the company currently owns 1 hotel in the capital city of Tbilisi and plans to open new facilities.
According to him, at this stage, the construction of a hotel complex is underway in Kakheti, near the Alaverdi Monastery, and another hotel, which should be built in Shuamta in Kakheti, is in the process of issuing a permit.
"The new hotel with 38 rooms, located next to Alaverdi Monastery, will be opened in November next year. Its total investment will be GEL 12 million and it will function under the "Alaverdi Resort" brand. The construction of the hotel has been going on for 2 years and we expect it to open in the third year. This will be a pilgrimage hotel, depending on its location (it will be located at the intersection of Tusheti and East Kakheti), will be interesting both for pilgrims and for people interested in tourism," said Salakaia.
In addition, the construction of the third hotel is planned, which will be located in Kakheti, in the area of Shuamta. It is expected that all current bureaucratic processes will be completed from February of next year. The hotel will consist of 48 rooms and its total investment will be GEL 16 million. The hotel will function under the brand "Shuamta Resort" and it will be built within 3 years.
It should be noted that both hotels will be 5-star and will meet all standards in terms of energy efficiency. It is planned to employ a total of 100 people in both hotels, and most of them will be locals.
