Commercial banks in Georgia recorded a record profit of over GEL 3.3 billion in 2025, representing a 7% increase in net earnings compared to the previous year.
Out of 19 commercial banks, 15 ended the year with a profit, while four reported losses.
According to data from the National Bank of Georgia, Bank of Georgia led the ranking with GEL 1.6 billion in profit, followed by TBC Bank with nearly GEL 1.3 billion, and Liberty Bank with GEL 126 million.
The banks reporting losses included Hash Bank, Paysera, VTB Bank, and Silk Road Bank.
