Batumi Oil Terminal recorded its highest monthly throughput since 2017 in August 2026, handling 293,000 tons of crude oil, oil products and gas, according to KazTransOil.
The company said the record was driven by increased cargo flows and the resumption of crude oil and aviation fuel handling in 2026. At the same time, the volume of fuel oil handled by the terminal has been gradually declining.
In January-August 2026, Batumi Oil Terminal handled a total of 1.251 million tons of oil, oil products and gas, up 37,000 tons, or 3%, compared with the same period of 2025.
KazTransOil said that with its support, Batumi Oil Terminal continues to expand its production capacity.
