Batumi Sea Port has recorded significant growth in cargo turnover, exceeding 6 million tons as of November 1, 2025, according to data released by KazTransOil.
The increase in transshipment volumes was primarily driven by the growth in container, ferry, and certain types of dry cargo transportation. Notably, the port also reported a rise in the handling of oil and light oil products of Kazakh origin, contributing to the overall positive trend.
“We continue to strengthen Batumi’s role as a key link in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, ensuring stable supplies and supporting economic cooperation between Kazakhstan, Georgia, and the Black Sea region,” said the General Director of Batumi Oil Terminal.
The ongoing expansion of Batumi Port’s operations underscores its strategic importance as a regional logistics hub connecting Central Asia with European markets.
