Georgia’s blueberry exports surged in 2025, with both volume and revenue showing significant growth. According to official statistics, in the first eight months of the year (January–August), the country exported 6,765 tons of blueberries worth USD 45.3 million.
By comparison, during the same period in 2024, Georgia exported 4,877 tons of blueberries, generating USD 27.7 million. This marks a 63.4% increase in export value and a 38.7% increase in volume year-on-year.
Russia continues to dominate as the leading destination for Georgian blueberries, accounting for nearly the entire export volume. In January–August 2025, Georgia sold 6,364 tons of blueberries worth USD 42.5 million to Russia.
