The Ministry of Health has released a statement on the changes taking place in the management of the Central Republican Hospital. According to the statement, Liana Chumburidze has been appointed director of the Kipshidze Central University Clinic from May 3, 2022, while old director Levan Gopodze continues to work at the clinic.
The Ministry explains the changes in management due to the reorganization and states that this is done to ensure effective governance and structural-functional optimization.
“Liana Chumburidze has been director of Bokeria University Hospital since 2019. She worked as a financial director at the Republic Hospital in 2017-2018. Levan Gopodze remains in the team of the Republic Hospital and continues to work at the clinic.
In order to ensure effective governance and structural-functional optimization, the Republican Hospital is undergoing a reorganization process, which is part of the work process. Georgian Medical Holding thanks the staff who made a special contribution to the smooth operation of the clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to work with them in the future.
