"Chreli Abano & SPA" plans to open a restaurant space from 2025, - Jaba Mamatsashvili, the executive director of the company, told BM.GE.
According to him, at the moment the company is combining two baths, and they will start from March.
"We want to open an open space restaurant. The new facility will be located on top of King Erekle Bath. Its opening is planned for 2025.
We have just finished the renovation of the King Erekle Bath, so we don't know the exact volume of the investment for the new project at this stage. From March, we will start working on a new project.
Over 50 tables should be placed in the restaurant space. At this stage, we employ about 60 people in total, but after the opening of the restaurant space, we will probably exceed 100 employees," says Mamatsashvili.
The executive director of Chreli Abano & SPA also talks about the challenges and notes that the preservation of the mentioned historical monument requires constant maintenance and restoration, which is associated with large investments. In addition, he also discusses the issue of personnel, notes that staff shortage is a painful topic.
