Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze declares, that the systematic land registration program continues, which means that citizens will be able to register a plot of land completely free of charge until the end of 2025.
As the Prime Minister mentioned at the government meeting, so far one and a half million land plots have been measured and one million land plots have been registered.
"Systematic land registration is one of the important reforms that have been implemented. Thanks to the Ministry of Justice for the very important results we already have. As you know, within the framework of this reform, a million and a half plots of land were measured and a million plots of land were registered, therefore, more than a million people became owners. 3,500 to 4,000 plots of land were measured and registered daily. We can imagine for ourselves how large-scale works have been carried out in this direction. This is a very important initiative that needs to be brought to the end, therefore, we have made a decision to continue the systematic registration of land. There are citizens who have not managed to register their land yet, and they will have the opportunity to register their land plots completely free of charge until the end of 2025," said Kobakhidze.
