Tbilisi City Hall will hold the ceremonial lighting of New Year illuminations on December 12, Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at the government session. He encouraged businesses to take part in the holiday activities and use designated public spaces, such as parks and squares, to install their own festive decorations.
Kaladze said the city is already actively mounting the illuminations and emphasized that broader private-sector involvement helps create a more vibrant holiday atmosphere. Deputy Mayor Andria Basilaia has been tasked with strengthening communication with businesses regarding their participation.
Installation of New Year lights is underway across Tbilisi.
