Tbilisi City Hall is spending GEL 1 million to renovate a recreational area and sports ground in Tskneti Forest Park. The project covers 4,000 square meters and is funded through the Vake District administration’s budget, with completion scheduled for the end of November.
The renovated area will feature new children’s play zones, green spaces, park furniture, a recreational pavilion and two fitness areas. A decorative fence has already been installed around the site.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Deputy Mayor Irakli Bendeliani, Vake District Governor Levan Kipiani and City Council representative Aleksandre Asatiani inspected the ongoing works.
Kaladze said the recreational area was originally developed around six to seven years ago but now requires upgrades to its playground equipment and football pitch.
