Nikoloz Medzmariashvili, general director of a new Real Estate Development Company Homer declares, that the company’s priority is to develop a bigger scale project, so they have chosen the place in Dighomi, near the US embassy, on the Bob Walsh Street, where there is an infrastructure for the youth olympic games. Besides that, the territory is great in terms of ecology, it’s close to the River Mtkvari, so it’s the only place in Tbilisi, where you can approach River Mtkvari without any barrier, through land.
According to Medzmariashvili, construction of the entire project will be finished by 2028.
“We are planning, projecting and developing the product, which we believe we know how to make, and also quality control is very important to us, that whatever we make on paper, comes into reality. This approach is based on our past experience. Around the end of March, early in April, we begin the construction, which will last, for the first building (that will be hand-painted) till September of 2027, and the rest of the 4 buildings will be finished 2-3 months after one another, so by 2028 the entire project will be finished”, - Medzmariashvili said.
According to the general director of Homer, when they are developing a project, every team participates in it.
“When we are developing a project, every team is participating in it, whether it be sales, or marketing, it’s not like only architects are sitting around, making decisions. We keep every past experience into consideration that has been accumulated for the past 10-15 years by the members of our group. So, when we were making this project, every aspect was implemented both inside the apartment and outside, in the structure of the building. Apart from that, in terms of architecture, since this would be the first project, we wanted it to be different from everything else. Our architect came up with a solution that one of the buildings, in which the presales have already started, would be hand-painted. So an artist will finish the facade. It’s important that we are going to have dedicated spaces for sports, not only outside, as previously mentioned, but also within our boundaries. We are building an outdoor fitness center, the kind that is usually built in parks outside. We decided on the open space because the space gives us the ability to do so, as there is an excellent environment around. Our territory will have around 7,300 square meters of greenery, which is definitely not a small number, as the entire territory is 2.5 hectares total, so 7,300 meters out of that is a big chunk. In Georgia it’s a new practice that we want to develop, to have different spaces for house pets, different spaces for kids ,and, of course, a football field”, - said Medzmariashvili.
