The rental of cottages at the wellness resort "Bioli" has become cheaper. The company's founder Tamaz Mchedlidze explains that he had to reduce prices due to the decrease in the number of foreign visitors.
According to Tamaz Mchedlidze, after November their financial indicators were negative due to low occupancy.
"In general, wellness is a field that interests high-paying individuals. These are people who have everything in life, know the value of health, and travel to resorts in various countries where they rejuvenate their body and improve their health resources," - noted Tamaz Mchedlidze.
Due to the decline in foreign tourist flow, the founder of "Bioli" had to reduce prices. The businessman hopes that the situation will improve.
"We had to revise our pricing policy. In fact, when there are fewer foreigners, more Georgians come up. For Georgians, the concept of wellness means smoking cigarettes in fresh air. We don't have the culture yet. Therefore, the price should be appropriate. If in summer a cottage cost 400 USD, now it's 150 USD. Even that price isn't high for foreigners. We had fewer foreign visitors, but hopefully sooner or later, over the years, the situation will stabilize and everything will improve," - explained Tamaz Mchedlidze.
