In general, there are often provocations organized by these radicals during pre-elections, however, if we compare with other elections, the process is radically different, calm and peaceful, - the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, told reporters.
The mayor of Tbilisi answered the question related to the statement made by the representative of the Association of Young Lawyers of Georgia, according to which violence and confrontations are more frequent in the country before the elections.
According to Kakha Kaladze, certain election subjects have nothing to say to the people and conduct their election campaign in specific embassies.
"Now everyone has the opportunity to go out and meet the population. Many people do not have the opportunity to do this in terms of how they should meet the population, what should they say to them? When you want bombs to fall on the country, when you want to open a second front, when you make direct appeals in terms of joining the sanctions, you try everything to harm the people and your country, with what honor should you approach the people? Therefore, they cannot even go to the field, they run to some embassies and conduct an election campaign there. People will give them an appropriate answer on October 26", said Kakha Kaladze.
