In 2025, the Didube District Administration spent GEL 28.6 million from the local budget on various infrastructure, social, and community projects, according to a report presented by Governor Davit Gelovani.
Road improvements were carried out at 48 addresses, covering 26,926 sq. m, and 15 drainage systems were installed. The administration also fully rehabilitated 28 recreation areas, replaced equipment in 128 squares, and renovated 19 sports fields. A multifunctional sports field was built in the Digomis Masivi after the dismantling of 60 garages, with asphalt, drainage, and resting areas installed. In total, 103 unsightly garages were removed across the district.
Community and environmental initiatives included planting 1,581 trees and addressing 22,078 citizens’ applications in healthcare and social programs, including financing surgery and treatment for 2,689 residents. The Homeowners’ Associations Support Program saw 166 projects completed, including roof and gutter replacements, elevator rehabilitation, and installation of underground utilities in 36 buildings.
Additional projects covered infrastructure upgrades in seven public schools, and the administration organized six cultural and sports events throughout the year, highlighting ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for residents of Didube.
