Georgian State Electrosystem releases an announcement on emergency power outage, which bm.ge offers unchanged:
"Today, on June 14, at 14:00, the 500 kV power transmission line Imereti and the hydroelectric power plant Engurhesi were cut off, due to which the electricity supply was limited to most of the population of Georgia. The accident elimination works are underway.
Georgian State Electrosystem apologizes to the customer for the delay," the state electricity system said in a statement.
Nationwide electricity was cut off at 14:00. According to the information available at the time, the electricity supply was limited to the capital and part of "Energo-pro Georgia" subscribers.
