External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 13 612 million in January-September 2022, 35.3% higher year-on-year, - shows the preliminary data from the National Statistics office of Georgia (Geostat).
The value of export increased by 37.4 percent reaching USD 4 097 million, while the import increased by 34.4 percent and amounted to USD 9 515 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 5 418.0 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 39.8 percent.
