External Merchandise Trade Up By 5.5% Between January And October
External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 19 022.4 million in January-October 2024, 5.5% higher year-on-year, - according to the preliminary data from the National Statistics of Georgia (Geostat).
As of the document, the value of export increased by 7.4% reaching USD 5 468.4 million, while the import increased by 4.8% and amounted to USD 13 554.0 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 8 085.6 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 42.5%.
