External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 16,252 million in January-August 2025, 8.8% higher year-on-year,- according to the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
The value of exports increased by 6.7 % reaching USD 4,448.0 million, while imports increased by 9.7% and amounted to USD 11,804 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 7,356 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 45.3%.
