Forbes has kept its estimate of Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili’s fortune at $2.7 billion, unchanged from last year. Despite the stable estimate, he fell from 1,362nd to 1,560th in the global ranking as other billionaires’ fortunes increased.
Forbes had previously valued Ivanishvili’s fortune at $4.9 billion in 2024, before cutting the estimate to $2.7 billion in 2025.
Bloomberg’s billionaire index has taken a different approach. Ivanishvili’s profile was removed from the index last year, when his fortune was estimated at $6.5 billion, and he is no longer included in the ranking.
According to Bloomberg data from last year, Ivanishvili’s fortune had fallen to around $3.6 billion. He dropped out of the world’s 500 richest people in April 2025, when his estimated fortune fell below $6.3 billion, the approximate threshold for entry into the ranking at the time.
