On March 21, deputy Minister of economy of Armenia Ashkhen Shirvanyan hosted a delegation led by the head of the Agso commune of France Bruno Betnovate.
As reported by the ministry's press service, during the meeting, the delegation members presented a program aimed at developing milk production in the village of Gandzakar in the Tavush region. To achieve this goal, with the support of the French side, plans are underway to establish a milk processing plant.
Expressing readiness to assist in the effective implementation of the program, Ashkhen Shirvanyan introduced the guests to the industry's implemented policies and government assistance programs available to participating farmers.
The participants also discussed the activities of an educational center for farmers established in Gandzakar in November 2023.
