France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, is set to make an official visit to Armenia on September 15-16. This information was shared on social media by Jean-Christophe Buisson, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the renowned French magazine Le Figaro.
During the visit, key issues of bilateral relations as well as the regional situation in the South Caucasus are expected to be discussed.
This visit marks yet another step in the growing rapprochement between Armenia and France. Over the past two years, relations between the two countries have significantly intensified, leading to expanded cooperation in various areas, including defense.
One of the most notable outcomes of this rapprochement has been Armenia's arms purchases from France, reflecting a new level of strategic partnership between the two nations.
