The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia has extended the natural gas import license for Gazprom Armenia by one year.

At a meeting held on December 30, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) decided to renew the license of CJSC Gazprom Armenia for the import of natural gas for another year.

According to the approved document, the license will now be valid until January 1, 2026. The decision takes effect on January 1, 2025.

As a subsidiary of Russia’s Gazprom and the sole gas supplier in Armenia, Gazprom Armenia manages the full natural gas cycle, including transportation, storage, and distribution.

The company imports Russian gas via transit through Georgia at a price of $165 per 1,000 cubic meters at the border.
