According to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, over 50,000 beneficiaries received preferential agroloans totaling up to GEL 8.2 billion under the “Preferential Agroloan” project between 2013 and 2025, with the state co-financing exceeding GEL 1.3 billion.
The project has recently added a new financial institution, Ziraat Bank Georgia, through an agreement signed by the director of the Agricultural Development Agency, Zurab Gozalishvili, and the bank’s CEO, Turgut Gulcihan.
Since 2013, the Agricultural Development Agency has implemented the project with 14 financial organizations participating.
Preferential agroloans support primary agricultural production, processing, storage, and marketing, as well as other project-defined purposes, providing both fixed and working capital.
