Corporate bonds worth GEL 900 million will be placed on Georgia’s capital market in 2025 with support from the state program “Enterprise Georgia”, according to Deputy Minister of Economy Irakli Nadareishvili.
Speaking at an event dedicated to a new bond placement, Nadareishvili said the program continues to actively support corporate debt securities. “By the end of the year, approximately GEL 900 million in bond issuance will be supported by the state, and at the same time we are seeing steady growth in this market,” he noted.
On the same day, microfinance organization Rico Express placed GEL 200 million worth of bonds under the program, marking one of the largest recent issues supported by the state.
According to the Deputy Minister, a total of 12 companies issued bonds in 2025 with assistance from the “Enterprise Georgia” program, highlighting the expanding role of the capital market in corporate financing.
